Take the payment, split it, and pay everyone out

A marketplace is two payment problems wearing one coat. Collect from buyers, verify and onboard sellers, hold funds until delivery, and pay out globally — through a single integration.

    The problem

Why marketplace payments are their own problem

You are not just charging a customer. You are onboarding a counterparty, holding money you don't own, and paying strangers in other countries.

    Splitting at capture

Platform fee, seller share and taxes have to separate at the moment of payment, not in a spreadsheet later.

    Onboarding sellers you've never met

Identity, business details and payout information all have to be collected and verified before money moves.

    Holding funds until delivery

Releasing a seller's money too early leaves you carrying the refund when the buyer complains.

    Paying out across borders

Sellers are everywhere, want different methods, and international transfers are slow and expensive.

    Fraud from both sides

A marketplace can be defrauded by a buyer, a seller, or the two of them working together.

    One integration or four

Collecting, verifying, holding and paying out often means stitching several vendors together.

    What you'd use

Both sides of the transaction, one integration

Collection, verification, holding and seller payouts on the same platform, so the pieces already know about each other.

    Payments

Collect from buyers on every rail, with the platform fee separated at the point of capture.

    Bill pay

Pay every seller in one run, each by their own preferred method and currency.

    Onboarding & verification

Verify sellers with identity, business documents and tax forms before their first payout.

    Stablecoins

Send overseas sellers USDC from the business wallet in minutes rather than losing days and fees to correspondent banks.

    Embedded payments

Put our checkout inside your own site or app with one integration.

    Fraud protection

Every charge screened before it settles, with chargeback evidence pre-built.

    Identity & verification

Know exactly who you are dealing with

Every payment is risk-scored and can be stepped up to 3D Secure today. Next: the same identity checks that clear customers onto our own platform, opened up for yours — send a link and the customer proves who they are from their phone.

You are paying out to sellers you have never met, which makes seller onboarding the place your marketplace is most exposed. Verify a seller once, under your own branding, and you can pay them for years without wondering who they are.

    • Face match with livenessRolling out

A selfie checked against the photo ID, with liveness in the flow — so it is the actual person, not a photo of one.

    • Cards checked in real timeRolling out

The customer shows the card they are paying with and it is verified on the spot, before you hand anything over.

    • ID and document captureRolling out

Licenses, permits, insurance certificates and tax forms collected from the customer's phone camera, with expiry tracked.

    • Risk scoring on every payment

Every card payment gets a 0–100 risk score from our fraud screening before it is charged, and you choose the score that gets blocked.

    • Your branding, your coloursRolling out

The verification step carries your name and palette, so it reads as part of your business rather than a hand-off to someone else's.

    • 3-D Secure step-up

Require issuer authentication on card payments above an amount you set, which usually moves fraud-dispute liability to the card issuer.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Can the platform fee be taken automatically?

Yes. The split is applied at the point of capture, so your fee and the seller's share separate as the payment is taken rather than being reconciled afterwards.

How do I verify sellers before paying them?

Send a verification request that collects identity, business formation documents, tax forms and payout details. Payouts can be gated until verification is complete.

Can I hold funds until an order is delivered?

Yes. A seller's share can be held and released on your own conditions, which protects the platform from carrying refunds after money has already gone out.

How do I pay sellers in other countries?

By international bank transfer, or in USDC or USDT where speed matters. Stablecoin payouts typically settle in minutes instead of the days a cross-border wire takes.

Do I need separate vendors for payments and payouts?

No. Collection, verification, held funds and payouts run through the same account and the same API, which is what removes most of the reconciliation work marketplaces usually carry.
